Melanin is a natural pigment that gives colour to skin. Exposure to sunlight, hormonal influences and ageing can cause an increase in melanin production and trigger dark marks and dark spots that make skin look uneven.
Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum brings together two serums that work in different ways:
(1) Thiamidol®: an effective and patented ingredient that acts at the root cause of dark spots is clinically proven to reduce dark marks, preventing their re-appearance with regular usage
(2) Concentrated Hyaluronic Acid: one of skin’s most effective moisturising substances helps skin to attract and retain moisture
The light emulsion is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduce dark spots and prevent their re-appearance while renewing skin’s look. First results are visible from two weeks and improve continuously with regular use. Skin is smooth and looks renewed, even and radiant.

- Apply daily, morning & evening, on cleansed face. Gently massage into skin before moving on to other steps in your skincare routine.

- Apply each product once a day. Use a maximum of four applications of products containing Thiamidol® per day.

Can I use Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum alongside other Eucerin moisturisers or will it only deliver results if used with the moisturisers in the Even Pigment Perfector range?
For best results in terms or reducing dark marks and dark spots we recommend that you use Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum once a day and in combination with other products in our Even Pigment Perfector range. The serum will still work if used with other moisturisers, it’s just that it may well take longer for you to see results.
If you experience dark marks and dark spots but it is not your primary skin-ageing concern then you may want to apply Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum before one of our anti-ageing care products such as:
- Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day Cream SPF 30 and Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Night Cream which plump up fine lines and deep wrinkles for a rejuvenated look

Can I use both Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum and Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Spot Corrector at the same time?
Yes, you can. Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum is effective at boosting the results of the Even Pigment Perfector day and night creams on your whole face, neck and décolleté. Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Spot Corrector has been specially formulated to fade individual, smaller areas of concern. The two products work well together but you should only use a maximum of four applications of products containing Thiamidol® per day.
You could use one in the morning followed by Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Day Cream SPF 30 and the other in the evening followed by Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Night Cream, or you could use both at the same time followed by the appropriate day or night cream. If you apply both together, use the serum first, then the spot corrector followed by the appropriate care product.
Can I use Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum instead of a moisturiser?
Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum contains concentrated Hyaluronic Acid which improves skin moisturisation. It has been formulated to boost the effectiveness of our dark marks-reducing moisturisers. For best results we recommend that you use it in combination with other products in the Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector range.
Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum does not protect skin from the sun. As the sun’s rays are a key contributor to dark marks and dark spots it’s important to wear an appropriate sun protection product, even on cloudy days. We recommend that, if you apply Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum in the morning, you follow it with Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Day Cream SPF 30 to help fade existing acne marks and protect skin from the sun, thereby reducing further sun-induced pigmentation issues. For intense sun exposure choose a higher protection factor from the Eucerin sun protection range.

Hi Serena. The Even Pigment Perfector range is not suitable to be used with active acne. We would suggest that you use the Dermo Purifyer range, with specific reference to the Triple Effect Serum (which contains Thiamidol, to reduce post-acne marks). In conjunction with this product, you would use the Dermo Purifyer Protective Fluid. For evening moisturising you would use the Dermo Purifyer Mattifying Fluid.
