The DermoPurifyer Protective Fluid SPF 30 contains actives that address acne-prone skin with post-acne marks in 3 effective ways:
1. Anti-marks: SPF 30 UVA/B filters protect from sun-induced darkening of post-acne marks and prevent their appearance
2. Anti-blemish: Antibacterial Decanediol helps to prevent blemishes and Licochalcone A soothes irritations

Licochalcone A is a powerful anti-inflammatory that works against micro-inflammation, soothes irritation and helps to reduce redness. Additionally, it has been shown that it inhibits C. acnes Biofilm-associated lipase activity (in vitro). Decanediol further prevents bacterial growth of C. acnes.
3. Anti-shine: Sebum-regulating technology with Carnitine and mattifying pigments deliver a long-lasting, dry, matt finish
Sebum-regulating technology with L-Carnitine reduces excess sebum production (known as seborrhea).

The Protective Fluid SPF 30 visibly protects from sun-induced darkening of post-acne marks and prevents their appearance. It prevents blemishes and controls shine.
Complements efficacy of Triple effect serum by helping to accelerate the post-acne marks fading time to provides physical & emotional relief that improves the quality of life.
Enhanced efficacy when used together with DermoPurifyer Triple Effect Serum.

Hi Nancy. We would suggest that you purchase the Dermo Purifyer Cleanser and Toner which you would use morning and night. Following the cleansing and toning routine in the morning and at night, you would use the Mattifying Fluid to moisturise your skin. When your pimples have cleared, you can replace the Mattifying Fluid in the morning, with the Triple Effect Serum (which will assist with post-acne dark marks) and Protective Fluid. In the evening, you can continue to use the Mattifying Fluid. Should you have any further queries, please feel free to contact our consumer team via e-mail to: ConsumerSA.External@beiersdorf.com. Many thanks

Hi Zama. Thank you for your enquiry. From what you have described, you appear to be using the correct range if you have very oily skin and dark marks. When you started using the product, did you have active acne, or are you now simply left with the dark marks associated with acne? If you are very sure that these products are adversely affecting your skin, we would recommend that you stop using them all, wait for your skin to recover and then introduce them one at a time, using a process of elimination, to determine which product is causing you the discomfort. You would then need to stop using the particular product that is affecting your skin. Should you wish to correspond further, please feel free to get in touch with our Consumer team via e-mail to: ConsumerSA.External@beiersdorf.com.
Hi Brian.
Thank you for your enquiry. As the Protective Fluid does contain an SPF of 30, you would not need to use an additional sun protection product on your normal day to day events. However, if you are going to be out in the sun, we would always recommend using a high factor sun screen. The product recommended for oily and acne-prone skin is the Eucerin Sun Oil Control Dry Touch Sun-Gel Cream. Please read more about the product on this link to our web-site: https://www.eucerin.co.za/products/sun-protection/sun-gel-creme-dry-touch-spf-50plus.
Many thanks,
