Melanin is a natural pigment that gives colour to skin. Exposure to sunlight, hormonal influences and ageing can cause an increase in melanin production and trigger dark marks and dark spots that make skin look uneven.
Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Night Cream contains Thiamidol®, an effective and patented ingredient that acts at the root cause of dark spots by reducing melanin production. It is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduce dark marks and prevent their re-appearance. First results are visible from 2 weeks and improve continuously with regular use. Tested on South African skin.
The night cream also contains Dexpanthenol – an active ingredient known to support skin regeneration overnight. Skin appears even and radiant. Panthenol and Dexpanthenol are two names commonly used for the same ingredient. It is a derivative of Pantothenic Acid (a B Complex Vitamin) and enhances skin regeneration and repair. When applied regularly, Panthenol/Dexpanthenol has been proven to considerably improve symptoms of skin irritation such as dryness, roughness, scaling and redness. Panthenol/Dexpanthenol is also an effective moisturiser. It improves hydration in the outermost layers of the skin and helps to reduce trans-epidermal water loss.

How To Use
Instructions
- Apply in the evening to a well-cleansed face, neck and décolleté
- Gently massage into skin
- Avoid contact with eyes
- For optimal results, use in combination with Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Day Cream SPF 30, Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum and Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Spot Corrector
- Apply each product in the range once a day. Use a maximum of four applications of products containing Thiamidol® per day.

Is Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Night Cream suitable for skin with age spots?
Yes. Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector Night Cream can be used to reduce many of the different types of dark marks and dark spots which include age spots (also known as sun spots). For best results we recommend that you use it in combination with other products in the Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector range.

If I stop using Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector products will my pigment marks come back?
Yes. The products reduce the melanin production that causes dark marks and dark spots. If you stop using Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector products melanin production could increase again, and dark spots may return. For lasting results, we recommend regular use.

Hi Dee. We would recommend that you use the Day Cream in the morning. This product contains an SPF of 30 which will protect your skin from the sun, in order to avoid further dark marks. Night Creams are formulated to regenerate the skin whilst you are sleeping and do not contain a sun protection ingredient.
