Clinical Studies
We conducted a two-week controlled usage study of Eucerin Intensive Lip Balm Anti-Inflammatory Soothing Care among 58 people with dry, chapped lips. Subjects included children under 12 and patients with conditions such as lip-lick eczema, Atopic Dermatitis or Xerosis.

Dry lips lack moisture, and are often also inflamed and irritated. This unique combination of ingredients work together to soothe and repair extremely dry, cracked or chapped lips; moisture is replenished by both Panthenol and Glycerol, and this moisture is then trapped in by the lips’ natural barrier which is regenerated by Primrose oil, and finally, redness and irritation are reduced by Licochalcone A.
