EVEN BRIGHTER Night Cream
This regenerating cream effectively reduces the appearance of dark marks during the night, for a brighter and more even complexion.
Eucerin EVEN BRIGHTER Concentrate is clinically proven to reduce the dark spots and uneven skin tone caused by hyperpigmentation disorders. It contains a high concentration of B-Resorcinol to decrease melanin production and fight hyperpigmentation while being gentle enough for everyday use. Apply it as a serum under your day cream for skin that starts looking visibly brighter and more even in just four weeks, and keeps improving over time.
We carried out controlled usage studies of the Eucerin EVEN BRIGHTER Clinical range among people with hyperpigmentation.
First, cleanse skin with Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Mild Cleansing Milk.
Follow with Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Clarifying Toner to prepare for the following care product.
If intensive sun exposure is expected, apply Eucerin Sun Creme SPF 50+ to protect from further photo-induced damage after applying care.

You want to reduce hyperpigmentation:
Eucerin EVEN BRIGHTER works on dark spots, age spots, melasma, freckles, post-inflammatory stress and acne scarring to give you a brighter and more even skin tone
You have healthy skin:
That means, you don’t have a skin condition such as Atopic Dermatitis or Psoriasis, or broken, irritated or injured skin.
You have broken, irritated or injured skin:
Wait for your skin to heal before using any Eucerin EVEN BRIGHTER product.
You’re allergic to B-Resorcinol (butyl resorcinol):
This is the active ingredient in Eucerin EVEN BRIGHTER.
You should still see a reduction in your dark spots over time. But for faster and more long-lasting results, we recommend using this with Eucerin EVEN BRIGHTER Concentrate and Eucerin EVEN BRIGHTER Night Cream if you have large areas of hyperpigmentation, or Eucerin EVEN BRIGHTER Spot Corrector and Eucerin EVEN BRIGHTER Night Cream if you have smaller areas of affected skin.
Laser treatments and chemical peels are more likely to provide instant results, but can result in severe skin irritation or even post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Yes, because the products reduce the melanin production that causes hyperpigmentation. If you stop using Eucerin EVEN BRIGHTER, melanin production could increase again, and dark spots may return. For long-lasting results, we recommend regular use.
Sun exposure, hormonal changes, skin inflammation and acne scarring can all lead to hyperpigmentation. Our Eucerin EVEN BRIGHTER range is clinically proven to visibly reduce the appearance of dark marks to give you visibly brighter skin tone with regular use.
We sincerely apologise for the length of time it has taken to respond. This was due to a technical problem on our side, for which we are really sorry.
The Eucerin Even Pigment Perfector products are effective in the treatment of post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (i.e. pimple marks). However, it will not assist where the marks are scarring below the level of the skin. We would recommend that you use the entire Even Pigment Perfector range, rather than splitting the use between the Even Brighter range. In terms of the control of your oily skin, we would recommend that you continue using the Dermo Purifyer Cleansing Gel and Dermo Purifyer Toner, but once you have finished the Dermato Clean Mild Cleansing Milk, you could stop using that particular product. The Spt Corrector that you are using is for dark marks, not for the pimples themselves.

The essential difference between this product and the Even Brighter product, is the inclusion of a ground-breaking ingredient called Thiamidol. This product has been researched by Beiersdorf over the past 10 years and has been extensively tested on human skin (including South African subjects) during the many trials. Thiamidol is an active ingredient which gets to the root of hyper-pigmentation by reducing melanin production in the skin. To ensure good skin compatibility and avoid any adverse reactions resulting from overuse, we have indicated in the usage instruction, of only using four applications a day for this product. Additionally, regular and long-term usage is essential to ensure an optimal and sustainable effect.
The Even Brighter Concentrate and Spot Corrector are being discontinued as the product is duplicated in the Even Pigment Perfector range.

Hi Mina Mina,
Thank you for your review relating to Eucerin Even Brighter Serum Concentrate. The products are filled with 5ml of cream which is done to specification at the manufacturing plant. It is not really possible to under-fill the product, as they are weighed prior to packing, using assayed scales. Having said that, we would be more than happy to re-test the control batch of product which you have purchased. Please could you send the batch code and expiry date (these are printed underneath the pack), to me at the following e-mail address: ConsumerSA.External@beiersdorf.com. Once we have received the result from our Quality Assurance department we will again revert.

The Eucerin Even Brighter Serum Concentrate is being discontinued and the stocks are becoming very low, which would be the reason you have been battling to find it in your local stores. May we perhaps suggest that you switch to the newly launched Even Pigment Perfector Dual Serum. This container, as you can see from the packshot below, has two chambers, one of which contains the Hyaluron Filler formulation and the other, our ground-breaking ingredient, Thiamidol. This product has taken 10 years to perfect and is specifically formulated for the reduction in hyper-pigmentation. The product is available at all Clicks and Dischem stores at an approximate price of R600.00.

Thank you for your enquiry. The Eucerin Even Brighter Spot Corrector is a product which is formulated to address issues of hyper-pigmentation. It would not be recommended for pimple spots. We would perhaps recommend that you discuss any new product which you are planning to purchase, with your consulting Dermatologist prior to embarking upon the use of a product.
